VALOR SHINES BRIGHTER IN THE DARK.
This book was really, really good to write. It wasn’t pleasant to write sometimes: there are terrible things that happen to characters I care about, and I didn’t know how it was going to end until I wrote the end.
But, at the end of it all, I’m very satisfied with this story. And I think you will be too.
This book started with a character; Signe, who became one of my favorite characters I’ve ever written. As I followed Signe on her journey a world filled in around her, a dark world filled with treacherous monsters and ageless beings, a world that is as unforgiving as it is full of mystery and wonder. It’s a world I’m going to return to in future books, but this story is a stand-alone story, and you can read it and you won’t be left hanging: the plot concludes, no strange cliff-hangers, no wondering for a year what happens next while I work on the next one. 🙂 (It wouldn’t be a year anyway, my writing process is faster than that!)
TL;DR: I’m pleased to share OATHBOUND with you. It was a labor of love, like all of my books, and I put my best into it.
